MTM Connect OUT API Adds Instructor ID for Enhanced Analysis - MTM Release 9.1 (June 3, 2024)

The MTM Connect OUT API now includes the Instructor ID, enabling users to link instructors to specific instructor-related questions. This feature supports detailed offline analysis, offering greater clarity and enabling more granular reporting.

MTM Connect IN API: Import Multiple Files Simultaneously for Faster Processing - MTM Release 9.0.1 (February 26, 2024)

The MTM Connect IN API now supports concurrent import of up to three files, accelerating file processing and minimizing time spent in the import queue. By increasing the number of files that can be processed simultaneously, this update reduces bottlenecks and expedites the import process, ensuring data is available more quickly for timely analysis and reporting.

Introducing manager language preference via APIs - MTM Release 8.3.7 (July 14, 2023)

Users can send a survey invitation to managers in their preferred language by including a langpref parameter in their integration file. Integrated clients will be able to set a manager’s langpref during enrollment. If multiple langprefs are passed, then the most recent one will be used. Manager langpref is optional; however, if you choose to use it, you can select one of the 31 supported languages.

Better data consistency and improved language preference via APIs - MTM Release 8.3.6 (June 10, 2023)

MTM Connect OUT API implementations have been improved by the addition of the new DataLoadingStartDate, which picks existing data from all endpoints that are between or equal to the data loading start date and the current date, making data available based on the class start date. This process enhances performance while ensuring improved data consistency across all endpoints. Additionally, existing API users are not required to take any action or re-pull their historical data.

Arabic, Hebrew, Malay, and Vietnamese have been added to extend language preference support for MTM Connect IN APIs, bringing the total number of languages available to students to 31. New blended learning program synchronization capability via APIs - MTM Release 8.3.4 (November 28, 2022)

Clients using the Connect IN API can now automatically deactivate blended learning program in MTM when they cancel them in the LMS to ensure consistency between the source system and MTM. This will ensure that MTM does not send any surveys nor collect any data against blended learning program that were canceled in the LMS and eliminates data collection errors.

Question Category ID added to the MTM Connect OUT API question endpoint - MTM Release 8.2.4 (November 2021)

Calling the Question endpoint will return each question’s Question Category ID to facilitate aggregate reporting at the Question Category level. This new data point will be populated for all existing data as well as new data, however existing API clients will need to re-pull their data to get the question Category ID.

External Student ID added to the MTM Connect OUT API enrollment endpoint - MTM Release 8.2.4 (November 2021)

Calling the Enrollment endpoint will return each learner’s External Student ID alongside their email, name, and manager information to better link MTM data to data from other systems. This new data point will be populated for all existing data as well as new data, however existing API clients will need to re-pull their data to get the external StudentID.

Introducing MTM Connect IN API - MTM Release 8.2.2 (July 2021)

MTM Connect IN is a REST API which allows you to automatically transfer data from one or more LMS/HRIS to Metrics That Matter multiple times a day. Classes, blended learning program, enrollments, assignments and learning assets are automatically synchronized ensuring that even last-minute changes to your learning events are reflected in MTM.

New MTM Connect OUT API Available - MTM Release 8.1 (October 2020)

MTM Connect OUT is an API which allows you to automatically transfer MTM Class and blended learning program learning evaluation data (I.e. survey responses) to your own data warehouse, data lake, etc. This removes the need for manual data transfer (e.g. exporting data from MTM and then importing into another system) and offers a more flexible and secure way of pulling your data for off-line reporting and analysis. With the use of MTM Connect OUT, it is easier for you to combine your MTM learning data with other business data from systems such as your LMS, HRIS or CRM for deeper analysis.
