(BNG 2023) Using Modular Question Sets to Better Support Institutional Initiatives

What can students tell us about our work towards our institutional priorities and initiatives? Surveys for these purposes outside of course feedback do not usually provide information that help instructors better align learning environments with these priorities and initiatives. This session focuses on using a buffet of modular question sets in Blue to supplement our core question set. In addition to supporting individual instructors in planning for teaching enhancement, these modules can also contribute to an aggregated snapshot for richer unit-level or institutional reporting. We look at technical configurations to enable this, a module development process, module adoption by instructors, and challenges in applying this model.
