BPI pathways and Blue connector update sequence

Much of the data used by Blue comes from existing enterprise systems within the institution. Since these systems tend to be large and mission critical, Blue, by default, retrieves data from these systems during off peak hours once a day. This is important to know as BPI, Blue Connector, and others may rely on that data and have sync schedules of their own. Due to the importance of obtaining updated data on a daily basis, you should ensure that all systems follow a proper sequence.

In a nutshell, the following table displays the ideal sync times that should be used when Blue is connecting to your LMS. Follow this order should you need to perform a manual synchronization.

The only system that you cannot modify is Blue Projects and Reports. However, Blue projects and reports are only updated at 2:00 AM ETif the various automatic update features have been enabled for the project or report.
