Data Sync Tool installation procedure

Installing and setting up Data Sync is a quick and easy process that can be performed on a client machine.

Download v2.5.0 of the Data Sync Tool.

To install Data Sync follow these steps:

1. Open the Blue Data Sync Client Install.exe.
2. Walk through the install wizard by following the prompts.
3. Finalize the installation process.
4. Launch Data Sync.
5. Follow the prompts to set up a user profile. (a user profile must created the first time Data Sync is launched.)

Data Sync operates as a Windows Service which means that it is always available and running regardless of whether or not Data Sync is open or even if anyone is actually logged in to the Windows server. This means that as long as the server/computer that Data Sync has been installed on is powered on and functional then scheduled data imports will continue to take place on time as scheduled.
