- Uninstall the existing Data Sync.

- Navigate to the folder where Data Sync is now installed.
- Copy the contents (not the folders themselves) of the five previously saved folders into their respective folders overwriting the existing files.
- Launch Data Sync.
- Log in using the profile username and password created in the previous version.
- Navigate to Configuration - Application.
- Click Update Configuration.
- Exit Data Sync.
- Open Services in Windows.
- Restart the Explorance Blue Data Sync Service.
Explorance Data Sync has been successfully updated.
Data Sync operates as a Windows Service which means that it is always available and running regardless of whether or not Data Sync is open or even if anyone is actually logged in to the Windows server. This means that as long as the server/computer that Data Sync has been installed on is powered on and functional then scheduled data imports will continue to take place on time as scheduled.
