Final notice - Blue 7 End of support: August 31, 2023

In June 2022, we announced the forthcoming End of Support for all releases of Blue 7. The reasoning behind this announcement is the fact that Blue 8 has been on the market for over 2 years now with multiple releases and updates, including improvements to security, accessibility, and privacy standards. With the maturity of Blue 8 and the availability of its updates, Explorance took the steps to end support for all versions of Blue 7 as of August 31, 2023.

We urge anyone on Blue 7 releases to update to the latest version for the latest features, fixes, and enhancements.

End of support

  • Blue 6 support ended: March 1, 2021
  • Blue 7 (early releases: 7.0 - 7.12) support ended: July 1, 2021
  • Blue 7 (all remaining releases) support ends: August 31, 2023

What does it mean?

It means you should take action if you are on a Blue version prior to Blue 8.

As you know, upgrading and staying current is increasingly important both for our customers and for our ability to support you adequately. We strongly recommend upgrading to the latest version that offers the latest features, fixes and enhancements.

After the date above, customers can still log incidents and seek help from Explorance Customer Support; however, no product updates, patches, nor responses from product or development teams will be provided for these unsupported versions.

Why is Explorance doing this?

It is becoming increasingly crucial that the technology you use receives the latest updates in innovation and security.

At Explorance, we are committed to advancing all our products to bring you the best capabilities available. This means that we will discontinue support for older versions that are not widely used and develop technological advances in the latest updates.

How do I upgrade Blue?

Current Blue 7 (or prior) customers can request a Blue 8 update today by contacting Explorance Customer Support. We will be happy to schedule your Blue upgrade to the latest version.

Extended Support

Options for extending support for Blue 7 are not available at this time. If you have special needs or requirements, please reach out to your Explorance Account Manager, or contact Explorance Customer Support for assistance.
