Blue 9.6.1 delivers WCAG 2.2 AA–aligned accessibility across core end-user experiences (Blue Home, Tasks, DIG, web and PDF reports, email workflows, LMS integrations, authentication pages). This positions customers to meet 2026 accessibility requirements.

New in this release

PDF rendering service When activated on Blue 9.6.1, the new rendering service produces fully accessible PDF reports (tagged structure for assistive technologies) and improves PDF generation speed, with the largest gains for high-volume report batches.

Important

• Accessible PDF reports require both:
  1. the environment is on Blue 9.6.1, and
  2. the new PDF rendering service is activated.
• PDFs produced before Blue 9.6.1 can be regenerated with the new service to meet accessibility requirements.

Rollout and activation

• Phased rollout. Early-access customers are being activated first.
• Remaining Blue 9.6.1 customers are expected to be activated by April 2026.
