Patch now available for key issue for customers on release 8.1.1 or 8.1.2
An issue reported by a few customers has been identified with Blue 8.1.1 and 8.1.2 affecting certain survey (fillout) invitations that may not be sent as expected after the conditions have been met. We want to advise you that a fix has been identified and is ready to be applied. Please contact Explorance Customer Support to apply the patch at your earliest convenience.
What is the issue?
Some survey (fillout) invitations may not be triggered even after all the conditions are met. The conditions could fall under any of these categories:
- Choose to only send invitations once the evaluation is opted in by a user (in subject management)
- Choose to only send invitations once the rater selection task is completed
- Choose to only send invitations once the question personalization task is completed
- Choose to only send invitations once the signing tasks are completed
This issue only occurs if any of these preconditions is configured in your project, such as an instructor needing to opt in a course in order to launch their midterm evaluations to students, or employees needing to submit their raters before triggering the invitation to employees to complete their 360 reviews. In such instances, the invitations are not being triggered as expected, and the respondents cannot respond to the affected surveys. This issue does not affect projects where no preconditions are configured in advance of the survey invitations being sent.
This issue could have occurred as early as July 11th, 2023, with the release of version 8.1.1 (Build #8.11.0 to 8.12.1).

You will find the version in your ‘blueadmin’ login under Connection > License > Installed Version (under License Info)
What action must I take now?
While this issue only affects a small number of customers, if you are on version 8.1.1 or 8.1.2 (Build #8.11.0 to 8.12.1), we strongly recommend you schedule a time with Explorance Support to apply the patch. If you are self-hosted and are on the affected versions listed above, please contact Explorance Customer Support to apply the patch.
