Report listing page
Reports help make sense of the data from your evaluation project. Build reports that include analysis on individual questions, the entire project, or multiple projects spread collected over years. The possibilities are endless. Blue will help you unlock the value in your data.
Use the built-in search functionality to find exactly what you are looking for:
- Start typing and immediately the search starts working.
- Titles, tags, categories, and statuses are all searchable.
- Place quotes around a string of multiple words and Blue finds results with that exact phrase.
- Add multiple terms to the search and Blue will only return results that include all of the words.
- Insert an or between search terms and Blue will identify results with at least one of the search terms.
Project managers see only reports that they have created or have been granted access to. Administrators have access to all reports in the system.
From Reports - My Reports, project managers are able to:
- Create entirely new reports.
- Edit existing reports.
- Manage or archive existing reports.
- Copy, delete, or archive existing reports.
- Filter and sort reports by title, category, subcategory, status, activity, or end date.
- Search reports by title, tags, categories, project, or status.
- only appear in the Archived List (available by choosing to show archived in the filter).
- can be viewed, modified, restored, copied and deleted.
- do not send automated emails.
- are no longer automatically updated (if automatic updates are enabled for the report).
- have no affect on report viewing (report viewing continues normally until they reach their end date).
Deleting Reports
When a project is no longer needed, it may be desirable to delete it from the Report List to reduce clutter and maintain a list of active reports that currently serve a purpose or will serve a purpose in the future.
It is possible to permanently delete reports from Blue but should only be done when there is absolute certainty that it needs to be deleted.
If the report may be needed again in the future, the report should be archived instead of deleted so it can be restored at any time.
Expired reports
An expired report means that report viewers will no longer have access to the report. The expired report can still be copied.
Archived reports
Archiving a report simply removes it from the main report listing and into an archived report listing that can be used to keep the report listing tidy.
