Before BlueX can be set up for your organization, a few key pieces of information are needed. Typically this information is collected during the Welcome Kit stage of the BlueX Customer Journey.

In addition, it will also be necessary to know or be aware of the usage quotas agreed to in the contract of your organization's BlueX license. Usage quotas include:

  • The number of BlueX administrators allowed
  • The number of respondents who will complete a survey annually
  • The number of emails sent out annually

BlueX installation and upgrade process

BlueX is a cloud-based solution that is managed by Explorance, which means that the installation and upgrade process for BlueX requires minimal if any effort from the organization. Once Explorance has received a completed BlueX Environment Deployment and SSO Integration Requirements Gathering Document (RGD), we will set up BlueX for your organization.

Similarly, as BlueX is a cloud-based solution, customers do not have to do anything to upgrade their BlueX site. BlueX upgrades will happen automatically and will be deployed to all BlueX customers. This reduces the workload on local IT resources, and will generally be transparent to BlueX admins and your users. Explorance announces BlueX upgrades prior to upgrading.

In short, the impact on IT and other resources within your organization should be minimal because BlueX is a cloud-based solution fully managed by Explorance.
