Refine and select your respondents
You may not need everyone uploaded in your respondent list to respond to your questionnaire. For example, you uploaded a file of all the students enrolled in 2019 when you only need undergraduate students. Filters can be applied to refine the respondents list.
From the Respondents page:
- Select Advanced filters to open the filter editor.
- Choose Add filter.
- Select the fields and choose the condition you need.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all the criteria you need are defined.
- Select Save filters to finish, each criteria will appear.
The list you see is the list of the respondents who will eventually participate in your survey. You can export this list to an Excel spreadsheet (.xlsx) by selecting Export data for future use.
If you make any changes to the respondents file (e.g. uploaded a new file) after inserting variables, you will have to verify and update all the demographic variables you have entered in the form and your email campaign, because the link between the respondent data and the variables will have been broken.
