Blue Expert Certification (BEC) training

The Blue Expert Certification (BEC) training is designed to further develop your expertise and skills in using advanced Blue features so you can implement any feedback process at varying degrees of complexity. BEC is offered periodically through the year as an instructor-led course, either in an in-person or virtual format. At the end of the BEC training, participants will be certified Blue Experts.

BEC training composition

Expert training consists of preparation work and instructor-led training.

PREPARATION - participants are required to complete the three fundamental training courses: Surveys, 360s, and Course Evaluations. These are available as self-directed modules in the Explorance LMS.

INSTRUCTOR-LED – over two and a half days (approx. 18 hours) of learning activities, participants will be exposed to advanced functions of project/evaluation setup. Five different projects will be constructed including data setup and datasource creation.

Who should take the Blue Expert Certification training?

Blue Certified Administrators with experience in implementing a Blue project autonomously at least in one evaluation or survey cycle, or those with an equivalent level of Blue knowledge and experience.

Learning objectives and key benefits

With the completion of the Blue Expert Certification training, a training participant will be able to:

Use advanced design and concepts to create evaluations projects for any situation.
Set up projects in different ways to affect reporting.
Contrast different project types and develop projects according to feedback data needs.
Develop questionnaires using the full range of question types and their attributes.
Connect and discuss project approaches with other experienced Blue users in the training cohort and Blue Users Community.

Fees and terms

Registration fees

Early Bird Price: $3,450 USD (early bird cut-off dates vary based on session selection).
Regular Registration Price: $4,950 USD.

Registration terms

There are only 10 places available for each training session.
If participating in a face-to-face training camp: travel and lodging fees are not included in the registration fee.
