Getting started as a Microsoft Training Services Partner
Microsoft requires that all official courses be evaluated in MTM.
For a quick overview of the steps to add and schedule classes as well as add courses, instructors, and locations for these classes, view the short tutorial below:

The basic steps to begin collecting evaluations are also detailed below for your reference:
LOGIN
- Go to www.metricsthatmatter.com
- If you don't have the password, click the "Forgot Password?" link to set your password.
ADD COURSE
- Navigate to Data Collection > Learning Events > Class.
- At Course field, click drop-down to find if the course you are looking for is listed.
- If not found, click Add Course/ Add Certified Course.
- Next select Add Certified Course tab.
- Enter the course name using the current course ID (e.g., AZ-900)
- Filter by Content Provider, Microsoft - MS, if necessary.
- Check box next to the course to add.
- Select Add to My Courses.
- At theLearning Method field, click drop-down to select the learning method you will use for the course.
- Close the window.
ADD INSTRUCTORS
- In Create New Class window, click Add Certified Instructor at Instructor section.
- Click to Add Certified Instructor Tab.
- Select Microsoft at the certification program.
- Enter the Instructor's Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) ID number or Microsoft Trainer Email Address.
- Click Search.
- Click Associate.
If you do not find the MCT by searching the instructor, the instructor (or you on instructor's behalf) would need to complete the online registration at the website below:
https://www.metricsthatmatter.com/NewMCTInMTM/EnrollMCT.aspx
Upon the MCT's completion of the online registration, you will be able to search the MCT through the Add Certified Instructors feature.
ADD LOCATION
- Navigate to Administration > Learning Assets > Locations.
- Click Add Location.
- Create a name.
- Create a short alias for this site.
- Select the location Time Zone.
- Select City and Country.
- Certification ID > Select Region.
- In the field called Partner Location ID > Enter the Partner Location ID.
- Click Add,
SCHEDULE CLASS
- Select Learning Method.
- Select Location. If not found, add a location.
- Move Instructor(s) to the right column to select. If not found, add an instructor.
- Select dates.
- Modify Class Name if necessary.
- Click Create Class.
COLLECT EVALUATIONS
On the last day of class, direct students to the Student Evaluation URL: www.metricsthatmatter.com/(YourOrgAliasHere).
