Manually update demographics for a published project

REMINDER

When a project is published, it captures the current datasource data to which its connected. Any modifications to the datasource after a project is published (or expired) does not update the datasource data for that project unless the project is manually updated or if the project is configured for automatic update using automatic field synchronization.

When a datasource has changed, by adding or removing fields, Manage - Fields can be used to update all fields, or only selected fields, from the revised datasource for a published or expired project.

Manage - Fields allows you to decide which additional demographic fields to use in your project. Once a field has been included in the project, it can be used in demographic filters for reports and can be exported alongside the response data.

Note that the published project must be a non-confidential or flexible confidential project.

  • For published projects with confidentiality, specific subject or rater fields can be selected or removed.
  • For published projects that are not confidential, the subject or rater fields are all selected by default.
IMPORTANT

When updating data, all previously gathered demographics for the selected fields will be overwritten by the current demographic information.

NOTE

When you add a field, unless you click Update Data, only the new responses gathered will include the associated demographics. When removing fields, the data already gathered will be discarded.
